A Magical Christmas

All the little mice are getting ready for Christmas. They are busily gathering holly and mistletoe, and as they work Little Mouse wonders what is “the magic of Christmas?”

Grandpa mouse thinks that it is “sitting indoors” where there is a warm fire and delicious smells. His brother thinks that Christmas magic is all about playing in the snow and building snowmen. Grandma Mouse thinks that Christmas magic is “soft voices singing” Christmas carols.

Every mouse in Little Mouse’s family has a different idea about Christmas magic, but it is his mother who captures the essence of Christmas in just a few choice words.

This beautifully illustrated and extremely sweet picture book will take readers into a cozy and warm world that is peopled with cunning little mice. Touched with glitter and gold, the illustrations are a joy to look at. Young readers will be reminded that though presents and parties, decorated trees and sing-alongs are all wonderful, there is something else about Christmas that makes it truly magical.
