In the toyshop there is one little teddy bear who isn't asleep. Something is wrong with him and soon everyone in the shop is trying to help. The Polar Bears think that the bear is cold; Honey Bear thinks he is hungry; Big Boss Bear thinks he is lonely. Then one bear, Blabber bear, comes up with the answer. It is very simple really - the little bear is worried. As there so many things that a little bear can worry about it is not that surprising really.
Small children will be comforted to read about this lost looking little teddy bear who is kept awake by his anxieties, and they will see that talking through those concerns with someone who understands can make all the difference in the world.
Wonderful full page paintings bring the entire toyshop community to life giving every teddy his or her own special character. Best of all children will be able to see how much the worried little bear changes after he has found a friend who understands him.
