It is evening and Woolly, the little lamb, is feeling tired. He is ready to go to bed but he can’t find his mother. Woolly is worried because he cannot go to sleep if his mother doesn’t tuck him in. Mrs, Cow, being a kindly soul, Offers to tuck Woolly in. Though she means well, Mrs. Cow tucks Woolly in so tightly that he can’t move.

Next Mrs. Cat offers to put Woolly to bed. She believes that he needs “lots of bedtime kissing.” Poor Woolly has his whole face licked. “Yuck!.” Will anyone know how to tuck Woolly in properly?

Little children will love this funny rhyming story about a little lamb who desperately wants the right person, his mother, to tuck him in at night. This is the perfect book to read at night just before a little girl or boy is tucked in with lullabies, hugs, and kisses.
