The Cobble Street cousins are back at Aunt Lucy's house. Lily, her sister Rose and their cousin Tess have had to live apart for the last year and though it wasn't the same as living together in Aunt Lucy's house, they have been so busy writing to one another and making plans for their summer reunion that at times it was almost as if they were never apart at all. Now it is just like old times, sitting in Aunt Lucy's kitchen and making plans. This time though they are making plans for a very special occasion indeed, for Aunt Lucy is getting married to her boyfriend Michael and the cousins are there to help her get everything ready for the special day.
Soon the three girls are planning the wedding breakfast treats and having a wonderful time doing it. Preparations, new friends, old friends, and much excitement fill the days. Of course the wedding itself is the best part of all - a day full of hope, happiness and love.
This final book in the Cobble Street Cousins series beautifully brings the adventures of Tess, Rosie and Lily to a close though we can be sure that the three girls will go on to do many more wonderful things over the years. Warm, comforting, and leaving one with a happy glow, this charming story makes the Cobble Street Cousin experience a truly delightful one.

ACTION ALERT!

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) needs your help. The President's proposed fiscal year 2009 budget released in February eliminates the Inexpensive Book Distribution Program, which is the RIF Book Distribution Program. Unless Congress reinstates funding for this program, RIF will be unable to distribute 16 million books annually to the nation's youngest and most at-risk children. RIF serves 4.6 million children. Please click on the link below to visit the RIF Action Alert page so you can make your voice heard and support their efforts.
