  Many of us are just a little scared of monsters, ghosts, and things that go bump in the night. Let me tell you about a boy who is terrified of such things. Knowing about his phobia, the little boy’s older brothers take pleasure in finding ways to frighten him as often as they can.

  On Halloween the boy and his brothers go out to trick-or-treat. The boy is dressed up as a soulful looking rabbit, while his brothers are all costumed up as a monster and as a mummy. As they are walking from house to house, the brothers get separated. The frightened little boy loses his costume in the woods, and then he finds himself on Monster Street.

  Sure enough the creatures living on Monster Street are indeed monsters. To his horror the little boy finds himself trick-or-treating with two terrifying young monsters. The monsters think that the little boy is in costume, and he is far too frightened to reveal that he is actually costume free. What will the monsters do to him if they find out that he is a human?

  In this funny and cleverly conceived book the author not only tells a grand Halloween tale, but he also shows his readers that sometimes things that are scary are not as bad as they look. Sometimes the things that really frighten us do so because they are different from us.

 Full of deliciously scary looking monsters and plenty of creepy scenes, this is the perfect book to enjoy on Halloween.
