Without a doubt the books about the land of Narnia are some of the most beloved tales of all time. Several generations of children have grown up with the characters in these books and the stories have had a huge impact on the world of children’s literature.

In this gorgeous title the seven books in the Narnia series, beginning with “The Magician’s Nephew” and ending with “The Last Battle,” have been brought together in a splendid and unforgettable format. On each double page spread the basic outline of one of the books is given to the reader. A large pop-up fills the page which beautifully captures the essence of the book. Several of the double page spreads also has a second pop-up which is revealed when a mini page is opened up.

Readers who enjoy the original series will love this highly collectible title. They will be delighted to see their favorite characters once more, for Reepicheep, Mr. Tumnus, Puddleglum and many others are all there in vivid color. Readers who enjoy pop-up titles are in for a treat for, as always, Robert Sabuda’s paper creations are spectacular.

Action Alert

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) needs your help. The President's proposed fiscal year 2009 budget released in February eliminates the Inexpensive Book Distribution Program, which is the RIF Book Distribution Program. Unless Congress reinstates funding for this program, RIF will be unable to distribute 16 million books annually to the nation's youngest and most at-risk children. RIF serves 4.6 million children. Please click on the link below to visit the RIF Action Alert page so you can make your voice heard and support their efforts.
