Sweet Dreams Maisy
Lucy Cousins
Picture Book (Series)
Ages 2 to 4
Candlewick Press, 2005, 0-7636-2874-3
Maisy and her friends have had a wonderful day playing outside and now the sun is setting. Stars are out and "the world is going to sleep." In her house Maisy tells Panda a story and sings him a lullaby. It is peaceful, quiet and the moon is shining outside casting shadows on the grass.
With soft atmospheric language and pretty moon lit pictures this picture book is sure to sooth even the fussiest of little children. They will enjoy sharing Maisy's bedtime rituals and being a part of Maisy's cozy and comforting world.

ACTION ALERT!

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) needs your help. The President's proposed fiscal year 2009 budget released in February eliminates the Inexpensive Book Distribution Program, which is the RIF Book Distribution Program. Unless Congress reinstates funding for this program, RIF will be unable to distribute 16 million books annually to the nation's youngest and most at-risk children. RIF serves 4.6 million children. Please click on the link below to visit the RIF Action Alert page so you can make your voice heard and support their efforts.
