A young boy has just finished creating a beautiful snowman (and snowdog) in his front yard and as he adds the finishing touches he wonders what snowmen do on Christmas. The boy imagines that the snowmen, snowwomen, snow children, and snow pets all get together in the center of town where they have the most wonderful celebration complete with sweet frozen desserts, tree decorating, a visit from the snowman Kris Kringle (whose sleigh is pulled by snow reindeer), dancing, and singing.
It is wonderful to see where the little boy's imagination takes him and to share in the truly joyous celebration that the snow people have on Christmas Eve. A bouncing rhyming text and rich full color illustrations make this a perfect book for the holidays. Readers are invited to find some hidden objects in each of the double page spread illustrations.
