Maisy is out and about with her camera and she is ready to take lots of photos of her friends as they play and have fun. First there is Charley the crocodile who is having a wonderful time playing his saxophone. Then there is Tallulah who is sitting under an pretty flowery umbrella on a beach. Maisy is even able to catch Cyril the squirrel as he drives his little red and yellow race car in a race.
Maisy tells each of her friends to "Smile" as she snaps their picture. By the time she is finished Maisy has a wonderful collection of photographs. There is only one person who has not had a picture taken yet - Maisy herself!

Unless Congress reinstates funding for this program, RIF will be unable to distribute 16 million books annually to the nation's youngest and most at-risk children. RIF serves 4.6 million children.
