Noddy saves Christmas
Enid Blyton
Picture/Board Book
Ages 4 to 6
HarperCollins UK, 2004, 0-00-718890-0
Just like so many children in the world Noddy has three very important questions to ask Santa. He wants to know how Santa visits all the children in the world in one night, how he fits down chimneys, and how Santa gets so many gifts into one bag. Noddy is therefore thrilled when Santa turns up. Santa has a big problem - the clock he uses to make time stand still on Christmas Eve is broken and he needs Big-Ears to fix the clock as soon as possible.
Meanwhile the two bad goblins, Sly and Gobbo, are up to their usual tricks. Disgruntled because they never get gifts from Santa, the two goblins decide to do a little thieving for fun. Unfortunately for Santa and for everyone else who loves Christmas, the two dreadful creatures decide to steal Santa's sleigh. Now what is to be done? Will Santa be able to make his deliveries after all?
Noddy fans will greatly enjoy this colorful board book with its festive themes. As they read or listen to the story they will also discover the answers to those three very important questions about how Santa does his job on Christmas Eve.
