It is hard to really describe how well children and their fathers “go together.” For some the relationship is as perfect as peanut butter and jelly, as cocoa and marshmallows, as moon and stars. It like the way in which you cannot have a kite without a wind, and the way in which hugs so often come with kisses. In short it is a togetherness that is perfect and “whatever the weather” the father and the child “go together.”
A simple text with wonderful images that young children will have do difficulty understanding make this understated, warm, and comforting book perfect for story times. The pencil illustrations show the reader all the wonderful ways in which fathers and their children spend time together.
