Love, Ruby Valentine

Ruby Valentine is a loving girl who lives “in the heart of heartland” and her favorite holiday is…you guessed it…Valentine’s Day. When Valentine’s Day is close Ruby gets busy making cards, which is something that she loves to do. Then, when the day is four days away she bakes a big cake and cookies. Three days away she makes goody bags for friends and family.

Then the big day arrives and something most unexpected happens. Poor Ruby’s plans are utterly ruined. What should she do?

Young children who enjoy Valentine’s Day will be charmed by this Valentine’s Day title. The rhyming text has a delightful sing-song rhythm, the illustrations are cheerful and festive, and best of all children will see that showing how much you love others does not have to be something that you only do on Valentine’s Day.

Love Ruby Valentine
