This Month’s Special Feature: The weather
On a daily basis we are all affected by the weather. It influences our choice of dress, our behavior, and our mood. When the sun is out and the sky is blue we rejoice and play outdoors. When it is grey, cold, and wet we stay inside enjoying a fire and a warm drink. In this feature we look at some books that explore the world’s weather and some of the most terrifying phenomena that Mother Nature can, and does, throw at us.
Season Features: Summer is here!
Schools are closed and the sun is out! It is the time of year when everything slows down, when we go for trips, play all day long, and spend time with family and friends. This collection of books will surely help young people get into the summer spirit, and some might give them ideas for great summer activities to try.
The Bookish Calendar
Every month TTLG creates a calendar of events, anniversaries, and holidays. For many of these, TTLG reviews a book or books about the topic. Titles of all kinds are reviewed. This month the topics include:
