Dr. Seuss Miniature Library: Ten Classic Tales from Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss
Picture Books
Ages 4 to 8
HarperCollins UK, 2004, 0-00-717591-4
This wonderful collection of ten of the most popular Dr. Suess books is sure to become a firm favourite. Each of the little books are small enough for small people to handle and yet not too small for the illustrations to be seen and enjoyed. The books in the set are: "Hop on Pop", "Oh the Places You'll Go!" "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Scrambled Eggs Supper," "Green Eggs and Ham," "Fox in Socks," "The Cat in the Hat," "The Sneetches and other Stories," "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish," and "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back."
Children will love having this beautiful hardback collection to choose from. Within the covers they will find old friends and possibly some new characters whom they have never met before. The books are suitable for children who are still very young ("Hop on Pop") to those who are ready for longer and more complicated stories ("The Grinch who stole Christmas."). It is therefore the perfect gift to give a young child and one which he or she will be able to grow into.

Action Alert

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) needs your help. The President's proposed fiscal year 2009 budget released in February eliminates the Inexpensive Book Distribution Program, which is the RIF Book Distribution Program. Unless Congress reinstates funding for this program, RIF will be unable to distribute 16 million books annually to the nation's youngest and most at-risk children. RIF serves 4.6 million children. Please click on the link below to visit the RIF Action Alert page so you can make your voice heard and support their efforts.
