The Mice are getting ready for Christmas. There are presents to wrap, treats to bake, and a tree and a home to decorate. When all these preparations are ready the mice wrap up in their warm clothes and go out into the snowy night to sing carols. When they get home they discover that they had a visitor in their absence. The cat has been to their home and she bought them a gift. It would seem that the mice have got a wonderful present this year - "a new-found chum."
In this edition of the mice holiday books the mice get a special Christmas surprise and in turn give someone else one. Simply told with bright and colourful pictures and minimal text, Bethany Roberts and Doug Cushman tell an appealing Christmas tale of friendship and giving.
