Angelina has one thing and one thing only on her mind. All Angelina Mouseling can think about is dancing and often all she can do is dance. She dances on her bed, on the way to school, and all over the house. In fact her dancing and her dreaming about dancing has become something of a problem for Mr .and Mrs. Mouseling because Angelina is always so distracted. What are the poor mouse parents to do with their dance mad little daughter?
Luckily for Angelina, her parents are wise in the ways of little mouse girls and they soon arrange for Angelina to go to ballet lessons. The result of this wonderful State of affairs is that both Angelina and her parents are happy.
For little girls who love the world of ballet, Angelina's story is a delight. The cunning and heavily detailed illustrations are distinctive and beautifully presented. The simple little story will appeal both to young readers and to their parents who are all too familiar with the phenomenon of "Ballet Madness."
This is the first of the Angelina Ballerina books.
