  For one young witch Halloween is her favorite holiday. She loves the costumes and the decorations. You might not know this but witches are afraid of humans – just as humans are often afraid of witches. To a witches eyes humans are very strange creatures. Not only are they not green, but many humans are afraid to fly and they don’t know how to cackle properly.

  This Halloween – to the horror of the other witches – the young witch decides to find out what humans do on Halloween. Unfortunately the witch has a close encounter with a tree and she ends up lying on her back right next to some humans. What will the humans do to her?

  Young Halloween fans will enjoy this amusing tale about a young witch who is forced to face her fears, and discovers something unexpected in the process. The story is told from the point of view of the witch, and readers will like the fact that the little green skinned girl speaks to her audience using speech bubbles – a format even the most word phobic young reader can enjoy. The text is easy to follow and the illustrations perfectly capture the little witch’s world.
