A Swim Through the Sea
Kristin Joy Pratt
Non-Fiction Picture Book

If you were a seahorse who went exploring in the ocean you would see many wondrous things. You would see everything from glowing angelfish to spiky and poisonous zebrafish. In this unique and very lovely alphabet book that author has gathered together twenty six different creatures who live in the world's oceans. Among them there are the gentle manatees, the hard-shelled crabs, the extraordinary nautilus, and the fascinating jellyfish. Each letter page is filled with the picture of its animal in its watery world. Around the main picture the reader will find wonderful colourful borders which show other animals who names begin with that letter.
The text is full of information and there is a strong emphasis throughout the book on the need for humans to do much more to protect the creatures and the habitats in the world's oceans and seas.
